Held at Maison De Moon, a French provincial style farmhouse based in the heart of the Adelaide Hills amongst sweeping countryside, this editorial was inspired by elevated and refined aesthetics and captured by Stacey McLean. Maison De Moon was the perfect backdrop for this styled editorial featured on The Anti Bride. With an epic team of vendors such as Found Collective and Eve Bud, this gallery will inspire your French themed day.
Florist Evebud's signature style of bow adorned fruit and structured, whimsical bouquets added a touch of playfulness and creativity. Styling by Found Collective was contemporary and no detail was overlooked, using custom-made ruffle ceramic plates and scalloped linen. Tables were adorned with exquisite handwritten stationery by Tawo Studio, vintage candelabras - with the entire scene cleverly framed by a structured fabric installation.
This editorial seamlessly merged timeless sophistication with contemporary accents, where every detail speaks of elevated opulence. With luxurious and polished details, the team created a grand, yet intimate garden party.
If you're looking for a European styled wedding venue in Adelaide, South Australia, then look no further than Maison De Moon in Clarendon, Adelaide Hills.
Nestled in Clarendon lies Maison de Moon, a charming French provincial farmhouse perfect for enchanting high teas, luxurious farm stays, and fairytale weddings. Set amidst 13 acres of countryside, this European-inspired retreat boasts a rose garden, wisteria walkway, and numerous picturesque backdrops.
Explore the stunning features of Maison de Moon with its forged iron balustrades, elegant structural arch entrances, and meticulously restored French antique hardware.
Previously owned by Judy Richards and Michael Norris for 18 years, Maison De Moon underwent a loving renovation. Michael, former owner of Country Style Interiors, personally crafted the kitchen cabinetry and constructed a castle-like tower and turret complete with a winding stone staircase.
Originally a 1950s single-level home, the property has been transformed into a French provincial retreat. Michael even excavated a small lake, now teeming with ducks, turtles, and water hens.
The original barn, a relic from the area's market gardening history 150 years ago, remains on the property as a charming greenhouse surrounded by grapevines, olives, fruit trees, and an apple orchard.
Another historic feature is a 150-year-old Maple tree at the heart of the bustling venue, adding a touch of magic to the atmosphere.
Now under the ownership of Irene and Tom Moon and their family, Maison de Moon is available on Airbnb, offering three bedrooms accommodating up to six guests.
For weddings, Maison de Moon can host up to 600 guests on its estate (as of January 14, 2022 so this may or may not still be the case). Intimate wedding ceremony and lunch packages are also available for groups ranging from 20 to 40 people
If you're wanting to stay at this gorgeous venue, you can now book it via AirBnb to get a taste of the magic that is Maison De Moon.
Maison De Moon is one of my favourite venues to shoot at, there are so many gorgeous spots for photos making it the perfect backdrop for your Adelaide Wedding Venue.
If you are looking at booking to have your ceremony or reception at Maison De Moon, I would love to chat about being your Wedding Photographer.
