Stacey McLean's career began in the fashion industry, where she spent years immersed in visual storytelling, creative direction and photography. Working across campaigns, editorials and commercial productions taught her how to appreciate light, composition and the subtle details that elevate an image.

While Stacey still works in the fashion industry today, five years ago she found herself wanting to create photographs with a deeper purpose. 
That desire naturally led her to capturing weddings. Where each individual event requires a mix of editorial direction, and space for each couple to enjoy their day with their loved ones. The magic happens somewhere inbetween - and that's where editorial and emotion co-exist.

Stacey photographs weddings, private events and brand campaigns from New York, Italy, London, Sydney and beyond. Regularly being commissioned to shoot backstage at Fashion Week, due to her strong use of flash photography and fashion direction. Her fashion clients' include Dior, Harper's Bazaar, Mecca, Aje, Commas, Wolf Gang, Nanushka, and Nagnata.
